We went on a nice long bike ride to two parks and then for a picnic lunch on this day. Emery was melting by the one we were home so we cooled him down with a popsicle and Lainey showed him how to dip his feet in his mini sized kiddie pool. She wanted to get wet and emery wanted to cool off and be included so we brought out a container just his size- one that he couldn't dive into. They are used to relating everything to their body size- "look! Ther is a Daddy rock, a Mommy rock, a Lainey rock, and an Emery rock!"- so this was perfect in their minds. Lainey had the Lainy sized pool and Emery had the Emery sized pool.
The next day we had a BBQ and ate outside for the first time this season. So strange! I hunk this was the same day my parents got a for and a half of snow and a snow day from school! Some "Michigan winter" we are having here. Oh well, the next day was spring anyway.
