Last of the Fall Leaves
Who needs new toys when God gives us leaves? The kids have really enjoyed all of the sunny days we've had to rake leaves this fall. Every time we have enough for a few piles we go out and rake. They make leaf nests and hide things under leaf piles, they jump in them, throw them, and track them back out all over the yard. Then they help me rake them back into a pile to put into the compost. They take turns mashing the leaves down so we can fit more in. They have also discovered that it is more fun to be the dumper than the dumpee when playing in the leaves. I live their faces in these photos. Emery was so pleased with himself for dumping on Lainey- then she got him back.
