Lainey and I have been going to a Mommy and Me group since October, shortly after she was born. It has been nice getting to know the other moms and babies in the area. One of the moms loves to knit and offered to show all of us how, so we went and enjoyed it so much that we set up a date for the next Tuesday as well. We decided to rotate houses so no one gets overwhelmed with hosting it every time. These photos are from our second meeting. We usually get more talking and playing done than we do knitting but it is a great excuse for us to get together and get to know each other better.
No, we are not teaching Lainey to be a bully- at least I hope not. Maddie wanted to touch her face but her Mommy said no. "It's ok, Maddie, don't cry."
Lainey is the youngest of 8 babies in this group. The oldest is only 2 months older than her. We also have a mom with twins who joins us when she can. It has been nice to get her perspective and see what it may have been like for my mom with James and Jason.
