Driving in a winter wonderland

We finally got some snow here in "snowy" Michigan! As you can see, not a lot but it is a start! It was warm-ish in the low 30s when it started snowing. You Oregonians can imagine the sheet of ice that created once all of that slushy wet snow froze under the typical powdery dry Michigan snow that came next with the colder weather. So it's been fairly slick here. It's exciting to see Everything covered in snow though. This is the view in our neighborhood on the way home from church today. Yes, this was taken from the car. No, the car was not moving at the time! That would be worse than texting and driving! Our little yellow house shouts, "spring time, I miss you." the color really makes it stick out in the winter time. However, it is very festive come April!
